Ice on the Landing
An outdoor ice skating rink will return to the Chattanooga Choo-Choo for the winter season beginning tonight. Presented by Volkswagen Chattanooga and Chattanooga Presents, Ice on the Landing features a large skating rink surrounded by gas lanterns and train cars. Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for children. That price includes skate rentals and two hours of skating. Click herefor more information.

Chattanooga Hip-Hop Festival
The first Chattanooga Hip-Hop Festival is presented by Hip-Hop CHA and will be at Revelry Room Saturday. Activities will take place at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo as well. The day begins at 8 a.m. with hip-hop workout classes, but the day will also feature workshops, storytimes, DJ instruction, battles and more. The Revelry Room will host performances at 2, 6:30 and 9 p.m. Performers include Q. Bosilini, Kay B. Brown, Tez D Da Runninman, YGTUT and more. Tickets are $20 and available here. The Mocs welcome the East Tennessee State University Buccaneers to Finley Stadium Saturday afternoon. The game will be the final home game of the season at Finley for the Mocs. A dismal year for the team, the Mocs have a 2–8 record. Saturday’s game will be the final time 20 seniors will wear their Mocs jerseys. As always, tailgating begins at noon outside the stadium. Tickets are $20–$30 and can be purchased here.

The final outdoor version of the Chattanooga Market will be Sunday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. The annual Thanksgiving Market features local meats, cheeses, breads, produce and homemade/homegrown foods for your family gatherings. Guests can also sign up for the annual Grateful Gobbler walk/run in Coolidge Park Thanksgiving Day. The Chattanooga Market moves indoors to the Chattanooga Convention Center for the first three weekends of December.

Alton Brown Live: Eat Your Science
Alton Brown Live: Eat Your Science is a new production that includes “songs, multimedia presentations, talk show antics and potentially dangerous food demonstrations.” The show will be Sunday at 7 p.m. at the Tivoli Theatre. The author of “I’m Just Here for the Food” and the host of “Good Eats” will display his science-based cooking skills, combined with elements of audience participation. Admission is $39–$125.
